Treignac

Treignac has a rich history. Walking through the picturesque medieval part of the village is like going back in time. You stroll between authentic buildings, beautiful fountains, old churches with bells from the past, a covered market place and of course the 12th century bridge over the river Vézère.
After a walk in the past you can enjoy a glass of wine in the present on one of the terraces of the village. Or maybe you’ll prefer a cool pastis, just like the “Treignacois” do. You will find the interesting history of Treignac here

Le Lac des Bariousses is just outside the village. Here, during the summer, you will be able to rent pedal boats, canoes and surfing boards. Of course the beach, including a children’s playgarden, is very suitable for swimming and relaxing in the sun.
